Simply Natural Creamery, 1265 Carson Edwards Road, Ayden, will hold its second annual Ice Cream Festival from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, July 14. Admission is free.
The festival is a celebration of National Ice Cream Day. There will be three locations set up on the farm to serve the creamery's hand-dipped ice cream.
The family friendly festival will include bouncy houses, pony rides, narrated wagon rides, mini train rides, and face painting. Some activities may have a fee.
There also will be a classic car "Cruise In," tractor displays, craft vendors, and commercial vendors.
Bring non-perishable food items to donate to Hope of Glory Ministry's community food co-op program. Requested items include pasta noodles, breakfast cereal, pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, dried beans, canned soups, spices and honey. Each person who donates two requested food items will receive a ticket for 25 percent off hand-dipped ice cream. The Summer Food Drive has a goal of 10,000 items.
The Greene County Jersey cow farm and dairy is owned and operated by Neil Moye and David Moye and their families.
