The 31st annual Farmville Dogwood Festival will be held Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29  on the Town Commons at 3672 N. Main St., Farmville.

 The festival includes arts and crafts vendors, amusement rides and live entertainment.

Friday, April 27, 2018

 9 a.m.-8 p.m.: Arts and crafts vendors and commercial vendors at various locations on and around the Town Commons

 4-11 p.m.: Michael's Amusements on the Midway behind Town Hall; tickets required

 5 p.m.: Opening ceremonies with Mistress of Ceremonies Heather King of WITN-TV in the Gazebo

 6-8 p.m.: Shriners Animated Animals around the gazebo area; free

 6:30 p.m.: Street dance with The Wannabees Band between Main and Wilson streets; free

 8 p.m.: Street dance with The Breakfast Club between Main and Wilson streets; free

 8 p.m.: Movie Under the Stars, "Smurfs - The Lost Village" on the Town Commons beside the Gazebo; free

Saturday, April 28, 2018

 7-10 a.m.: Breakfast hosted by the Marlboro Free Will Baptist Church on the Town Commons, various prices

 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.: Petals and Pedals Family Bike Ride; free

 9 a.m.-8 p.m.: Food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, and commercial vendors on and around the Town Commons

 10 a.m.: Dance Unlimited performance at the Gazebo; free

 10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Eastern Cruisers Car Show, Snow Hill Group, on Main Street; free

 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Kids CoolFest with balloon art, face painting and crafts all day; free

 10 a.m.-7 p.m.: Fossil Find provided by Aurora Fossil Musum located by Kids CoolFest; free

 11:30 a.m.: A Step Above Performing Arts performance at The Gazebo; free

 Noon-11 p.m.: Michael's Amusements on the Midway behind the Town Hall; tickets required

 Noon, 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.: ProTown BMX Stunt Team exhibition on Main Street; ride with the pros, clinic sessions follow first and second shows

 12:30 p.m.: The Main Event Band performance at the Gazebo; free

 2-5 p.m.: Market on Main at the May Museum, 3802 S. Main St.

 2:30 p.m.: Rural Route Romance performance at the Gazebo; free

 4 p.m.: Roman Sams Band performance at the Gazebo; free

 5:30 p.m.: Bill Lylery Band performance; free

 6:15 p.m.-11 p.m.: Tribute concert on West Horne Avenue adjacent to the athletic field; the concert will be held rain or shine; tickets are $15 through noon April 27 and $23 on April 28 at Farmville Town Hall

 6:15 p.m. -- Landsharks (Jimmy Buffett tribute)

 8 p.m. -- Trial by Fire (Journey tribute)

 9:45 p.m. -- Purple Masquerade (Prince tribute)
